About the role:

As part of our Inventory team, you'll gain an understanding of how the different parts of a manufacturing business come together.

You'll work closely with our experienced Inventory Manager and wider team, learning about inventory, procurement, suppliers and the components that keep our manufacturing operation running.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to learn how manufacturing works from the inside out and develop their knowledge of mechanical and electrical components along the way.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Receiving and processing incoming goods
• Checking deliveries against purchase orders
• Maintaining accurate inventory records
• Reconciling supplier invoices
• Managing supplier returns and credits
• Collecting supplier compliance documentation
• Supporting procurement activities
• Assisting with stocktakes
• Working closely with production, project managers and accounts

About You:

You don't need years of experience to be successful in this role. We're looking for the right attitude, enthusiasm and potential.

You'll be someone who:

• Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in getting things right
• Is genuinely interested in manufacturing, engineering, mechanics or electrical components
• Enjoys understanding how things work
• Takes initiative and isn't afraid to ask questions
• Can follow processes and instructions accurately
• Wants to build a long-term career rather than just find another job
