Build World-Class Machines with Technopak

At Technopak, we're proud to be at the forefront of engineering innovation, designing and manufacturing world-class food-grade packaging equipment. Based in Auckland and exporting globally - to the USA, Europe, Asia, Australia and across New Zealand - we support some of the biggest names in the dairy industry with our custom-built solutions. From concept to commissioning, our work covers the full project lifecycle, and our machines are a trusted part of operations worldwide.

We're looking for a Level 4 trade qualified professional to join our talented team and play a hands-on role in building our bespoke machines from the ground up. This is a unique opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and takes real pride in precision engineering.

In this role, you'll be working from detailed technical drawings and 3D models to assemble machinery, carry out fabrication and machining tasks, build pneumatic systems and troubleshoot as needed to ensure everything runs smoothly. While most of your work will be based in our East Tamaki workshop, there will be times when you'll travel to client sites to complete builds onsite. That means travel throughout New Zealand and occasionally overseas, so a valid passport and flexibility to travel are essential.

We're after someone with experience in assembling large, complex machines who can confidently interpret technical plans and work to deadlines without compromising on quality. Welding experience or knowledge of electrical systems would be a bonus, but what really matters is your positive attitude, team spirit, and commitment to doing great work.

At Technopak, you'll be joining a supportive and experienced team that values craftsmanship, problem-solving and collaboration. This is more than just a job - it's a chance to work on innovative machinery, grow your skills and contribute to projects that make a real global impact.

If you're looking for variety, challenge and the opportunity to be part of a company doing big things on the world stage, we'd love to hear from you.
